I am a permanent resident of village Pirsaluhi, Tehsil Rakkar, District Kangra , Himachal Pradesh and presently residing at Shimla contributing towards my family business .
I am a solo trekker, free lancer photographer and a voluntary blood donor which is my passion .

Passed presea training from one of the premier maritime Institute SCI- Maritime Training Institute Powai & started sea carrier as a Trainee Navigating Officer Cadet in 2011 with National carrier and pioneer of Indian Shipping,one of the largest Shipping Company of India,
The Shipping Corporation of India ,cleared my BSC Nautical Science and Second Mate(F.G) in 2015. Completed my MBA in (HR & International business) from Lovely Professional University and currently sailing as a Second Officer with The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd.
Born and brought up in Hamirpur Himachal Pradesh and currently settled In Hamirpur. Happy to be a part of HSA.
HSA has provided me opportunity to connect with seafarers from Himachal and I will strive for the growth of HSA by contributing Maximum Possible.

Himachali Seafarers Association Members work through closely knit Chapters which is group of Seafarers based in certain geographical area. These Chapters give direct Support to their Members and also lead the work pertaining to Focus Areas of the Association.
Each Chapter is lead by Coordinator and he is assisted by Volunteers.

1. Bilaspur

Studied at Him Academy Public School Hamirpur , sailing as 2nd off with AG Maritime Pvt LTD for past 4 years , prior to that have worked with Great Eastern Shipping and A P Mollar Maersk Singapore .
I have been there at sea for past 15 years
Formation of HSA is a great step which will benefit current and future seafarers to a great extent , will work towards taking this association to greater heights.
2. Chamba
Profile :
Working as chief engineer with Anglo Eastern ship management belong to chamba willing to be a part an organization wherein I can utilize the experience and expertise gained in my professional & personal life to be an asset to organization.
I am a team player who always strives towards the growth of organization by maintaining high professionalism , with a “nevergive- up attitude”, innovation and commitment.
3. Dehra
Profile :
I am chief engineer in bulk carrier vessel.
I have experience latest electronic engine.
I joined shipping on 2003 in MSC .
I am also doing work for organic farming and yoga activities.
As chief engineer I have 24 months experience.
As a part of HSA ,I want to Sort out the problem of seafarers according to HSA Target list and help who interested to join shipping.
4. Dharamshala

Born and brought up in kangra , did my BSc. In Nautical technology from R.L. institute in Tamil Nadu which is an off-center for Birla institute of technology and sciences - pilani.
Sailing as a second Officer with TK tankers.
Loves to travel mountains , drive off roads and like to capture the beauty of it on camera.
HSA has provided me with the opportunity to bring together all the seafarer from surrounding and merge them to a single media; its the future of himachli seafarer.
"Unify towards prosperity" is my aim and will keep up all the work necessary to enhance my community my people my seafarer.
5. Kullu/Lahaul & Spiti

Presently putting up at Bhunter in distt-Kullu. Born and brought up in Kullu-Manali.

6. Hamirpur
Profile :
Belong to Veerbhumi Hamirpur was raised up in small and beautiful village. Did my matric. from Govt. School Kangoo and higher secondary from DAV Kangoo.
Was born as a cadet in ARI and brought up as an officer in V Ships. Presently sailing as 2nd officer with V ships.
Cricket is passion volleyball is love, poetic mind ,love history, nature lover and travel addict but love to travel the natural places rather than crowded cities.
I feel lucky being as a member of HSA will strive to achieve the association the desired heights.
7. Mandi

I belongs to Distt Mandi, Village Chanjyani Post. Office & Tehsil Baldwara.
I belongs to middle class family and my father is retired teacher & mother house wife. My wife name is Reena Kumari and I am a proud father of 2 daughters and a son.
I have started my carrier in 2005 as Junior Engg. with V Ships in Merchant Navy.
Presently sailing as 2nd Engineer with Suntech Ship Management Pvt. Ltd. formally known as Navig8 , having 36 months Rank.
8. Palampur
Profile :
Born in Shorana, Palampur and a army brat.
Studied at Kendriya Vidhyalaya and mohindra college, Patiala. A former NCC Cadet.
Sailing as a Chief Officer in bulk carriers and associated with Anglo Eastern for past 14 years.
Love to sail, play sports and do social work.
Through HSA wants to work for the welfare of Himachali seafarers and a guide for upcoming seafarers.
9. Una
Profile :
Currently working as a Senior Operations manager in Ocean Network Express India pvt Ltd since October 2019, earlier had a chance to work with Hapag Lloyd regional HQ Singapore office for 5 years and in past started my Shore job in CSAV India, based in Gurgaon.
I had around 12 years vast sea experience before jump into the shore and my professional qualifications is Mates & Masters from U. K along with my B. Tech degree from Solent University.
Having vast experience in shipping as almost working Ashore in past 10 years and my hobbies are traveling, sight seeing, and playing badminton.
I have been a member of recent years for Himachal Mitra mandal, Mumbai as a social advisor and for HSA looking forward to full fill our agenda as a common goal for the welfare of Himachali Seafarers to achieve our mission to get registered all the himachalis seafarers in this association, so that we can leave a legacy of HSA behind us.
